Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has been appointed the new chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), marking a new chapter in the leadership of the influential union. The announcement was made over the weekend, and MC Oluomo wasted no time in celebrating the milestone with a heartfelt message to his supporters and followers.
Taking to social media, MC Oluomo expressed deep gratitude to God for his elevation, reflecting on the challenges he has faced in his journey to the top. “Dear God, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you for your boundless mercy, grace, and love. I cherish the precious gift of life and the elevation you’ve bestowed upon me,” he wrote in a post on Instagram. His words resonated with those who have supported him throughout his career, as he acknowledged both the highs and lows that led to this moment.
In his message, MC Oluomo shared that he has overcome past grievances and extended forgiveness to those who have wronged him. “I have forgiven everyone who has offended me, and I wish those I have offended would forgive me as well,” he said. The newly appointed chairman also took the opportunity to thank key figures within the NURTW who helped him achieve this position. “I extend heartfelt appreciation to the NURTW Board of Trustees members, NURTW National Executives, and all NURTW members.
