“Those Prophecies Are Lies” – Portable Sparks Controversy by Disputing Pastor Adeboye’s 2025 Predictions

PORTABLE

Nigerian singer Portable has stirred controversy after publicly disputing the 2025 prophecies delivered by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The outspoken artist didn’t mince words when he labeled the revered cleric’s predictions as “lies,” refusing to accept the ominous forecasts for the year ahead.

In his recent sermon, Pastor Adeboye warned that 2025 would be a year of unprecedented challenges for Nigeria, with many citizens struggling to survive. The pastor prophesied that significant changes would occur, including the replacement of earthly helpers with heavenly ones and the downfall of those who mock God and refuse to repent. These prophecies painted a rather grim picture of the coming year, which raised concerns and sparked conversations across the country.

However, Portable was quick to respond, publicly dismissing Pastor Adeboye’s declarations. “I reject these prophecies,” Portable declared, making it clear that the predictions did not resonate with him or his loved ones. The singer’s response was direct and unapologetic, and he stood firm in his belief that the prophecies would not apply to him. His defiance of the pastor’s words has caused a stir among fans and critics alike.

“Those prophecies are lies,” Portable continued, asserting that he would not accept any negative predictions for the future. His rejection of the prophecies has raised eyebrows, particularly given the stature of Pastor Adeboye, whose prophetic messages are followed by millions.
