Bobrisky, known for his presence in the crossdressing community, shared an emotional tribute to his late mother, acknowledging her lasting influence on his life. In a deeply moving Instagram post, Bobrisky expressed his heartbreak over her death, revealing how her passing in 2008 has shaped his journey. The heartfelt message sheds light on his personal struggles and the responsibilities he took on after her death.

In the post, Bobrisky recalled the tragic moment when his mother passed away on October 28, 2008, in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. He revealed that before her death, she made a poignant request: “Bobo Omo mi, in case I don’t make it back to Nigeria, please take care of your brother.” Bobrisky recounted asking his mother why he should take on this responsibility, to which she responded, “Because you are stronger and have got thick skin.”

The next day, Bobrisky received the heartbreaking news of his mother’s death, and he has since honored her final wish. “Sadly, the next day I heard you pass away in Mecca, Saudi,” he shared. Despite the loss, Bobrisky has remained committed to fulfilling his mother’s request, taking on the responsibility of caring for his family. He shared that he continues to care for his grandmother, who is now 87 years old and in good health, and has been supporting his older brother and his family.

Bobrisky’s tribute also reflected on the emotional toll of fulfilling these duties, stating that his brother’s situation is different from his own. “My elder brother is not comfortable like me, so I keep helping him because you told me to take care of them,” Bobrisky wrote. “He got married and has two kids. I’m still the one taking care of them till date.”

The Instagram post also touched on Bobrisky’s struggles in 2024, particularly the financial losses he faced. He mentioned how the year was particularly challenging, referencing a scandal involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a leaked audio implicating him in corrupt activities. “I went through hell in Nigeria as of 2024, I lost so much money,” Bobrisky admitted. However, he expressed reluctance to share his hardships publicly, explaining, “I can’t come online to cry because many of them will laugh at me, as they have been waiting for this moment.”

In his emotional message, Bobrisky called out for strength in the face of adversity. “Mummy, I need your strength right now. I can’t say much here on the internet; all I need now is more strength,” he said, indicating how deeply he misses his mother’s guidance during these tough times.
