Nigerian singer Fireboy has sparked a conversation about the true meaning of love, stating that he believes it is inherently sacrificial. In a recent interview, the 28-year-old artist expressed his thoughts on love, saying, “Love means sacrifice to me. I think true love is sacrificial in nature, which I think is really messed up.”
Fireboy, who is signed to YBNL Nation, also opened up about his struggles with love, admitting that he doesn’t think he’s ever been in love. “I don’t think I’ve ever been in love,” he said.
The singer also spoke highly of his record label boss, Olamide, describing their relationship as “dynamic.” He praised Olamide for being “emotionally intelligent,” saying, “My relationship with Olamide is very dynamic. Sometimes he is my CEO, business partner, and sometimes my big brother.”
