In a dramatic turn of events, social media critic Verydarkman (VDM) has fired back at actor Adams Kehinde, better known as Lege Miami, who recently demanded a public apology from VDM over his controversial remarks regarding President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu. The exchange has quickly escalated, drawing attention to the ongoing tensions between public figures and social media influencers in Nigeria.

VDM, who is currently in China, made his comments during a video in which he compared the advanced infrastructure of China with the ongoing challenges facing Nigeria. He highlighted the importance of the younger generation, particularly Seyi Tinubu, in addressing the grievances and concerns of Nigerian youths. “The youth have so many problems that need attention. It is important that Seyi Tinubu takes a more proactive role in engaging with them,” VDM remarked during the video.

In response to VDM’s remarks, Lege Miami was visibly upset. The actor demanded a public apology from the social media influencer and issued an 18-hour ultimatum for the apology to be delivered. “If VDM doesn’t apologize, there will be consequences,” Lege Miami declared in a statement. His demand stirred further controversy, particularly on social media platforms, where the exchange quickly gained momentum.

Rather than retract his statements or apologize, VDM responded with characteristic defiance. He posted a sarcastic video in which he “apologized” to Seyi Tinubu for being associated with Lege Miami. “I want to sincerely apologize to Seyi Tinubu for being linked to someone like Lege Miami,” VDM said mockingly in the video, further fueling the tension between the two figures.

VDM, in a follow-up message, reaffirmed his position on the matter. “This is not about personal attacks; it’s about holding our leaders accountable and speaking the truth,” he stated. He emphasized that his recent visit to China had only strengthened his resolve to continue pushing for transparency and accountability from Nigerian leaders.

Lege Miami, meanwhile, is yet to respond directly to VDM’s video. However, his public demand for an apology continues to stir debate across social media platforms, with many users weighing in on the ongoing feud. Supporters of VDM argue that he is simply exercising his right to free speech and holding public figures accountable, while others back Lege Miami’s stance on the issue.
