Bobrisky Accuses EFCC Officials of Assault at Lagos Airport

Popular Nigerian social media personality, Bobrisky, has recently accused officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of assaulting him at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos. The influencer shared disturbing photos on Instagram, showing visible injuries he claims were inflicted by EFCC officers during an encounter at the airport.

In a post that has since sparked widespread outrage, Bobrisky revealed that the alleged assault took place as he was about to board a flight to London. According to him, he was subjected to unnecessary and unwarranted aggression by EFCC officials, leading to visible bruises on his arm and leg.

“I can’t get over what EFCC staff did to me,” Bobrisky wrote in his post, expressing his shock and frustration over the incident. The influencer’s post has quickly gone viral, with many of his followers and members of the public condemning the alleged treatment, questioning the professionalism and conduct of EFCC personnel in such situations.

The images shared by Bobrisky clearly depict bruises on his limbs, and he expressed emotional pain over the event. The influencer, who is known for his controversial posts and larger-than-life persona, did not provide further details about what specifically led to the altercation with the EFCC officials.

The EFCC has not yet issued a public statement regarding the allegations. However, Bobrisky’s post has raised concerns about the behavior of law enforcement agencies in the country, especially when dealing with high-profile individuals like him.

Bobrisky’s followers were quick to express their support, with many condemning the alleged excessive force used by the EFCC. Some users took to social media to call for an independent investigation into the incident, while others demanded accountability from the anti-corruption agency.
