Bobrisky Slams EFCC, Calls Them ‘The Most Wicked People in Nigeria’

Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has publicly criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), calling them the “most wicked people in Nigeria.” His scathing remarks came in response to a statement made by the EFCC urging Nigerians to show empathy towards its official, who was tragically shot during a raid in Anambra State.

The controversy started when the EFCC issued a public statement asking Nigerians to be humane and show compassion for the loss of one of their personnel. Bobrisky, however, took to his Instagram stories to express his anger at the Commission’s actions, accusing them of hypocrisy.

“I just don’t like reading anything about EFCC online, cus I feel like I want to throw up each time I read about them,” Bobrisky wrote in one of his posts. “You are asking the public to be human about the loss of one of your staff but you are the most wicked people in Nigeria,” he added, highlighting his disdain for the Commission.

Bobrisky further detailed his personal experience with the EFCC, alleging that he had been mistreated during his time in their custody. He recounted how his home was raided by EFCC agents under the suspicion of money laundering. “When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched my house. When I asked you guys why, you claimed I’m into money laundering, you want to check if I’m not printing money in my house,” Bobrisky stated.

The socialite did not hold back in his criticism, comparing the EFCC unfavorably to the police. “Police are better than you all one million times,” Bobrisky declared, expressing his belief that the EFCC’s methods were excessively harsh and unwarranted in his case.
