Portable Seeks Divine Intervention Amid Legal Troubles 

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned to God in an emotional plea concerning his wife and mother. The controversial artist, who is currently facing legal issues with the Ogun State government, took to his Instagram story to express his prayers and personal reflections.  

 

In his posts, Portable appeared to be seeking forgiveness and divine guidance, admitting that he has learned from his past mistakes. “God forgive me because of my mama and my wife. I learn from my mistake, there’s a lot of things I’ll never do or allow again. God, do me as I want,” he wrote.

 

The singer, known for his bold personality and controversial statements, further prayed for divine protection and blessings. He called on God’s grace, asking for his dreams to come true and for sadness to be kept away from him. “Show me your grace. Aje Olokun cover me, the owner of the Dept of sea. God, don’t let me be sad anyhow. E be make I dey see my own do. Let my dream come true,” he added.

Portable’s heartfelt appeal comes at a time when he is embroiled in legal battles, which have reportedly caused distress within his family. While he did not directly reference his legal troubles, his words suggest a desire for peace and stability in his personal life.

 

In a follow-up post, the singer continued to pray for happiness within his family. “Big God go do am again. God make my family happy again. Amuludun,” he wrote, using a Yoruba term associated with joy and celebration.

 

He also reaffirmed his faith in God’s power, adding, “Oluwa loni glory Oluwa. Iyanu wa wo Ola iyanu Iyanumasele.” The statement, which translates to “God owns the glory; wonders will happen,” reflects his belief in divine intervention during difficult times.
