Kingsley Okonkwo, a prominent relationship coach and Lead Pastor of David’s Christian Centre in Lagos, has issued a stern warning to men about the kinds of women they should avoid engaging with on social media. In a post shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday, Pastor Okonkwo listed several categories of women whose online behavior, he believes, can disrupt a man’s peace of mind.
The first group of women Pastor Okonkwo advised men to steer clear of are those who frequently post images or videos from luxury hotels, private jets, or business class flights, without any visible means of income. He remarked, “Those that post themselves in expensive hotels, expensive vacations, and on private jets and business class flights without any commensurate work or business,” emphasizing that these kinds of posts may be misleading or superficial.
He also cautioned men against women who regularly share revealing or inappropriate photos online. According to the pastor, these women may not align with the values that contribute to a healthy relationship. He pointed out, “Those who post nudity and vulgar pictures” as another group that men should avoid. Pastor Okonkwo’s advice suggests that such behavior could be a red flag for men seeking meaningful and respectful relationships.
Furthermore, Okonkwo highlighted women who are active on multiple online prayer platforms but do not demonstrate commitment to a local church. He wrote, “Those that are on all prayer platforms but never an active member of a local church,” suggesting that this behavior could indicate a lack of genuine spiritual commitment. He advised men to be wary of such inconsistencies when evaluating potential partners.
In his post, Pastor Okonkwo also listed other types of women to avoid, including those who engage in endless debates on gossip blogs, comment on posts without reading them, or constantly comment on trivial matters. He concluded with a warning about women who oppose positive portrayals of men on social media, stating, “The men haters/feminists that oppose every post that seems to say something positive about men.” Okonkwo’s advice has sparked discussion online, with many agreeing with his perspective on maintaining peace of mind in relationships.
