Nigeria politician, Dino Melaye, has been trending on the social media for the past few days. This time, it is for a different reason other than politics.
Dino’s new fame came in the aftermath of the arrest of Instagram celebrity, Raymond Igbalodely a.k.a. Hushpuppi by the International Police from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to face alleged multiple fraud charges. Dino Melaye who has been receiving attacked for always flaunting his luxury cars, champagne and designer clothes on social media, was dragged into the mess after a picture he took with Hushpuppi surfaced and circulated widely online.
Society Plus gathered that the picture was taken when Dino Melaye clocked 46th in January this year and decided to throw a lavish party on the occasion in Dubai.
Meanwhile, in his quest to redeem his image, the controversial politician took to his twitter handle to share tips on image building and why one needs to associate with quality company.
He tweeted: “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently. Associate yourself with people of good quality, for it is better to be alone than in bad company. ”
