The initiative, founded by the popular public figure VeryDarkMan, seeks to create a more conducive learning environment for students by addressing critical infrastructure issues in the school system.
In a video shared on his Instagram, VeryDarkMan was seen visiting the Unijos village campus, expressing his enthusiasm and determination for the project. “This is just the beginning. We want to make sure that students here have everything they need to succeed,” he said, while highlighting the urgent need for improvements at the school. His visit to the campus was an opportunity to survey the challenges firsthand and to outline the goals of the renovation.
The renovation project includes several key improvements to the school’s infrastructure. Among the planned changes are the installation of solar-powered pumping machines, which will provide a sustainable water supply, and the addition of 46 taps to ensure that students have access to clean water. These efforts aim to address basic needs that directly impact students’ daily lives and overall health.
In addition to these upgrades, the infrastructure of the school itself will be renovated. Classrooms and other critical areas will be refurbished, creating a safer and more functional space for learning. Music mogul Don Jazzy, known for his charitable endeavors, has thrown his full support behind the initiative, pledging a generous N100 million donation.
