Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has shared new information regarding the whereabouts of Adura, the younger brother of the late singer Mohbad. This follows concerns raised by Mohbad’s mother, who previously claimed that Adura had gone missing under unclear circumstances.
Earlier reports indicated that Mohbad’s mother publicly accused Fabiyi of being involved in Adura’s disappearance. However, it later emerged that Adura had not gone missing but had been taken into police custody. The revelation sparked widespread reactions, prompting Fabiyi to clarify the situation.
In a recent video, Fabiyi confirmed that Adura had been rearrested by the police due to suspicions surrounding his alleged involvement in Mohbad’s death. “Adura was taken to Zone Two,” Fabiyi stated, adding that he would provide further details on the case when appropriate.
Fabiyi also shared a distressing account of the arrest, recalling how Adura desperately clung to their father’s legs, pleading as officers attempted to take him away. The actor further disclosed that a police officer from Panti had reached out to him, requesting his presence for a meeting with the new deputy commissioner of police.
The actor emphasized that the authorities could no longer overlook Adura’s alleged role in his brother’s tragic death. He also addressed ongoing allegations from Mohbad’s mother, who has continued to accuse him publicly. According to Fabiyi, the case has now been redirected to Panti, where the initial investigation had begun.
Fabiyi’s statement follows a previous press conference in which Adura had denied any involvement in Mohbad’s death. At the time, Adura also explained how he came into possession of Mohbad’s phone, a detail that had raised questions among the public and investigators.
