That the inter-ethnic crisis that rocked Fagba in Ifako-Ijaiye some weeks ago has rendered some traders bankrupt making them run into debt is like stating the obvious. But the good news here is that, the Honourable member of the 9th Legislative Assembly, representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 01, Hon. Adewale Adedeji has inaugurated a 10m naira relief fund to support all the traders and affected victims within the axis.
According to the young and vibrant politician, Adewale Adedeji the fund for the relief is solely his personal initiative and support from families and friends who believed in his course.
Adewale said that the committee is fully in charge of the disbursement of funds which he would release to them as he receives from the donors.
And as you’re reading this, a total of Five Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand is already at hand and was subsequently released to the committee.
Adedeji charged the committee members to discharge their responsibility with utmost diligence, sincerity and accountability.
Adewale Adedeji also expressed his trust and faith in the committee to do a great job which he said will make their names to be written in gold in the annals of the history of the local government.
