Ambassador Emenike To Lead Embassy Team To NaijaTimesUSA’ NIBAD Event

The Ambassador of Nigeria to the United States of America,Dr Uzoma Emenike,it is confirmed, will lead other members of the Nigerian Embassy in the United States, to the much talked about Nigeria Independence Ball Awards And Dinner ( NIBAD), holding this weekend in Baltimore, Maryland.

 

According to a statement issued and signed by Femi Adepoju, the Editor of NaijaTimes USA, being the organiser of the event in collaboration with Raindrop LLC, Dr Emenike and her surport officials will be at the event as informed during a visit to Dr Emenike by the Publisher of NaijaTimesUSA, Niyi Thompson Tabi earlier in the week.

 

Other members of the embassy confirmed for the occasion holding on the 8th of October 2022 include

 

the Deputy Chief of Mission- Ambassador Mukhtar Bashir, Head of Chancery- Titilayo Kolade (Mrs.), Senior Councelor – Mrs. Joy Akinmoladun, Second Secretary- Mr. Godwin Ocheni and Second Secretary- Mr. Roosevelt Amadi-Ikpe among others.

The Chairman, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brigadier Gen. Buba Marwa Rtd; Chairperson, Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa; Speaker, Lagos State House Of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa; are some of the dignitaries nominated for honours at the 2022 edition of the annual Nigeria Independence Ball Awards And Dinner

 

The event will feature a Colloquium on Nigeria with the theme: Way Forward For Nigeria The Diaspora Perspective.

 

According to the Publisher of NaijaTimes, USA, Olaniyi Thompson Tabi, the Colloquium will hold at Dominion Hall, York Road, Baltimore, adding that the event will feature prominent personalities as speakers.

 

They include: Prof. Gbadero Odularu, Dr Mufutau Adeite, Seun Onigbinde, Dr Reginald Amadi, Social Influencer, Seun Obajolu David Akinlaja and Nollywood actor, Doris Simon.

 

Award categories at the event include Best Nollywood in the Diaspora category, first Nigerian owned University in USA, Giant Strides in Education sector, Legislative Excellence Award, Best Insurance Agency, High Competence in Immigration law, Real Estate with Budgit nominated for the Accomplishments award.

Thompson Tabi informed that the annual event is NaijaTimes USA modest way of amplifying the giant strides of known and unsong Nigerians in the diaspora, to Nigerians at home and the world at large as well as projecting to the diaspora, personalities back home making good example of the offices they occupy.
