BBNaija’s Shaun Okojie Insists Romance with Wanni Was Genuine

Former Big Brother Naija season nine housemate, Shaun Okojie, has denied that his relationship with fellow housemate Wanni was a strategic move. In an interview with journalists, Shaun emphasized that their connection was genuine and not orchestrated for the show.

“There were many ships, and I realized that if anybody’s ship is benefiting them, I don’t think I would have known if it would have been a good strategy or not,” Shaun said. “I already came with a girl, but me and Wanni had a more natural connection that we developed in the house.”

Shaun acknowledged having other romantic interests in the house, specifically mentioning Victoria, but maintained that his connection with Wanni was unique. “The easiest strategy would have been to stick with Victoria in a romantic way, but that didn’t happen,” he explained.

Now that his BBNaija journey has ended, Shaun is focused on his future plans. “Definitely want to be more successful. I would be doing more of acting,” he revealed. Additionally, Shaun plans to promote his clothing line, leveraging his newfound fame.

Shaun, along with Handi and TJay, was evicted from the show last Sunday, leaving six housemates remaining. The competition, which premiered on July 28, will conclude on October 6, 2024, with a grand prize of N100 million, including a cash prize and an SUV.

As the show nears its finale, fans eagerly await the outcome, and Shaun’s post-BBNaija plans demonstrate his determination to build a successful career beyond the reality TV show.
