Nigerian reality TV star, Vee, has sparked controversy with her scathing criticism of supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and self-styled activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM). In a video message shared on her social media page, Vee questioned the sanity of those defending the government and VDM.
“Personally, I’m judging anybody that supports that current Nigerian government. I’m also judging supporters of VDM,” Vee stated unequivocally. She expressed frustration with individuals defending the government amidst widespread suffering and hunger.
“It’s high time we start holding certain people responsible. If you say something stupid or defend the wrong thing, I’m cutting you off,” Vee emphasized. She also dismissed the idea of individual “freedom fighters,” advocating for collective action instead.
Vee specifically mentioned VDM, saying, “I don’t believe it should be VDM doing it… We don’t even know what his achievements are. What’s he trying to achieve?” She revealed that she skips VDM’s videos and conversations about him.
Vee’s comments come amid the ongoing controversy surrounding VDM and his criticisms of Nigerian celebrities, including Falz and Bobrisky. However, Vee clarified that she wouldn’t engage in discussions about VDM or his feuds.
“Anybody defending this government needs mental evaluation. Anybody defending VDM… I will not defend him,” Vee reiterated. Her statements have sparked heated debates on social media, with some users praising her boldness and others criticizing her stance.
