Speaking through National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Tinubu addressed the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja on Saturday, reiterating his dedication to steering the nation toward prosperity.
During his remarks, Tinubu emphasized the ongoing changes in the country and the administration’s determination to continue moving forward, despite criticism. “Things are happening in our country today. Some may disagree with us, and criticism is expected. But fundamentally, Nigeria is changing, and it will continue to change for the better,” he said, reflecting a sense of optimism about the country’s future.
The president also took the opportunity to address Nigeria’s economic struggles, acknowledging the difficulties faced by citizens. However, he assured Nigerians that the current transformation of the economy would eventually lead to brighter days. “The economy is undergoing transformation. In a strong statement, the president vowed to hold those involved in criminal or unethical behavior accountable, regardless of their location. “If you’re involved in wrongdoing, whether within Nigeria or abroad, you’re in trouble. Justice will find you,” Tinubu declared, sending a clear message that no one would be exempt from facing the consequences of their actions.
