In a celebratory event, Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner Kellyrae has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Warri South, Delta State. The announcement was made by Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, during a ceremonial meeting attended by both Kellyrae and his wife, Kassia.
Ogiame Atuwatse III praised Kellyrae for his exemplary conduct during the reality show, stating that he “set a positive example for youths in the community.” This recognition highlights not only Kellyrae’s personal achievements but also the broader impact of his behavior on the local youth.
The formal ceremony took place at the Warri South Local Government Council Secretariat, where community leaders and residents gathered to witness this significant moment. The Olu’s endorsement reinforces the importance of role models in promoting positive values within the community.
Reflecting on his journey in Big Brother Naija, Kellyrae expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the values of Warri. “My time in the house demonstrated the caring nature of Warri people… We changed the narrative of what content means, showing that good character and wisdom can be just as compelling,” he remarked, emphasizing the cultural significance of his experience.
As the first married winner of the show, Kellyrae highlighted the vital support he received from his wife, Kassia. “My wife believed in us, and we made history,” he shared, acknowledging her role in their success and the importance of teamwork in their journey.
