Nigerian crossdresser and self-identified transgender, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has revealed plans to tie the knot. However, the announcement has stirred controversy due to her revelation that the man she plans to marry is already married.
Bobrisky shared the surprising news with her followers, stating her determination to move forward with the marriage despite opposition. “My husband-to-be is a married man. Guys, be ready; bottles are gonna be flying between myself and my [iyale]—my husband’s first wife,” she said in a post on her social media.
The announcement has garnered mixed reactions, especially as Bobrisky disclosed that her fiancé’s first wife is strongly opposed to their union. She admitted that the situation has created tension but maintained her resolve to proceed with the wedding. “She’s trying to stop us from getting married. And me, I’m in love because he spends a lot on me. I’m not leaving him,” Bobrisky declared.
