ThecommentNg understands that Victor Olaiya whose music has continued to attract both old and young artiste died on Wednesday afternoon at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Victor Olaiya, who celebrated his 89 birthday last December 31, was confirmed dead by Managing Director of Evergreen Music Company Ltd, Bimbo Esho.
Victor Olaiya was extremely famous in Nigeria during the 1950s and early 1960s, received recognition outside his native country.
