It is no longer news that the second face of #EndSARS Protest has started in Lagos today, 7th December, 2020.
The news here is that, the youths are presently waving their banner in Lekki toll gate demanding for the resignation of Buhari, Buratai, Sanwo-Olu while asking for their prosecution at International Anti-Corruption Court over #LekkiMassacre.
#EndSARS reloaded Phase II as tagged by some of the youths started with plans to kick-off in five major states and cities.
Some of the state according to information includes; Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Delta and Bayelsa.
The Four Point Agenda of the new EndSARS as listed includes,
*Buhari, Buratai, Sanwo-Olu to resign and face ICC for killing innocent Nigerians at Lekki toll gate
*Free all #EndSARS protesters
*Unfreeze all bank accounts of EndSARS protesters
*Referendum.
Meanwhile some of the top government officials have been telling those who care to listen among the youths that, another round of #EndSARS protest will worsen our economy.
However, one of the protester tweeted to counter the claim saying, he has seen more news stories advising #EndSARS protesters, warning protesters, blaming protesters, and threats to protesters but he’s yet to see officials compelling the government to do right thing.
“This is how much we have normalized police brutality and state violence in Nigeria.” he concluded
