The online feud between Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy and socialite Cubana Chief Priest has intensified, with both parties exchanging heated insults and shocking claims. The conflict began when Burna Boy referred to Cubana Chief Priest as “Owerri Rick Ross” in a social media post, a statement that quickly caught the attention of fans and critics alike.
Cubana Chief Priest wasted no time firing back, accusing Burna Boy of failing to pay debts for his jewelry and Ferrari. He further mocked the Grammy-winning artist by calling him “African Princess” and alleged that Burna Boy’s Grammy award was heavily influenced by music mogul Diddy, who is currently embroiled in a scandal referred to as the ‘baby oil’ controversy.
In a sharp rebuttal, Burna Boy denied the accusations and defended his reputation, stating that he always pays for his possessions in full, often in cash. “Everybody in Lagos knows my style. All my stuff paid for, sometimes cash sef. If not, I for dey all the blogs by now for owing debts like your boss,” Burna Boy wrote in a scathing response shared on social media.
The feud took another turn when Burna Boy challenged Cubana Chief Priest to visit Cooscharis to service any of his alleged stolen cars. The singer hinted that such an action might lead to legal consequences for the socialite. “Go to Cooscharis and service any of your stolen cars abeg. I wan see something,” Burna Boy added in his post.
Despite the heated exchange, Burna Boy concluded his post with a note of sarcastic concern, suggesting that Cubana Chief Priest could face jail time if the accusations were pursued further. “Make I relax actually, I no want make you go jail,” he said, hinting at the potential seriousness of the allegations.
