COVID-19 update – 1 December 2020

The Department of Health has today reported three new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia.
The confirmed cases – two females and one male aged between 9 months and 45 – travelled to Perth from overseas. They are all in hotel quarantine.
The State’s total number of cases is now 821.
WA Health is monitoring 23 active cases and 789 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.
Yesterday 1,025 people presented to WA COVID clinics – 1,009 were assessed and 1,005 swabbed.
There have been 555,761 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 91,441 were from regional WA.
