Cubana Chiefpriest Accuses Burna Boy of Threatening His Life and Family

Prominent Nigerian businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has made serious allegations against Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy, accusing the singer of posing a threat to his life and the safety of his family. The accusations came to light on Friday, January 17, through an Instagram post in which Chiefpriest expressed his concerns about Burna Boy’s recent actions.

 

The tension between the two escalated after Burna Boy shared a video on social media showing him driving through Chiefpriest’s affluent Ikoyi neighborhood in Lagos. According to Chiefpriest, this act was more than a casual drive-by; he viewed it as an intentional attempt to intimidate him and his family. “This na my neighborhood for Ikoyi, you drive pass my crib recording with eye symbol, you are watching me to shoot me Abi or abduct my family, this is childish,” Chiefpriest wrote in his post, accusing Burna Boy of plotting something sinister.

 

The business mogul went on to express his frustration and anger at Burna Boy’s behavior, labeling it childish and threatening. He warned the Afrobeats star to stay away from his family and made it clear that he was prepared to take matters into his own hands. “Dog wey dey bite no dey bark. I be Aba boy; we fight to finish. All your men shall fall that day if you cross my lane. Make sure nothing happens to my family,” Chiefpriest continued, implying that he was ready for a confrontation if the situation escalated further.

In addition to the public accusation, Chiefpriest also revealed that he had taken the matter to law enforcement. He stated that he had already informed the Nigeria Police Force about what he considered a threat to his safety and his family’s well-being. “Na Ikoyi be this, here no be Ikate @nigeriapolice force already have the intel so I’m ready,” Chiefpriest added, suggesting that the police were already aware of the situation and that he was prepared for any potential fallout.
