DJ Big N, a prominent figure in the Nigerian music scene, has clarified the circumstances surrounding Don Jazzy’s financial assistance to cross-dresser Bobrisky. According to DJ Big N, a mutual friend of Bobrisky initiated a fundraising effort to support the cross-dresser following his release from jail. He explained, “A friend of Bob reached out to Jazzy to donate, and out of the benevolence of his heart, he donated.”
DJ Big N emphasized that Don Jazzy’s kindness is not a publicity stunt. “I can 100% tell you that Don Jazzy has never met Bobrisky before. He has never spoken to him before, he doesn’t have his number, nor does Bobrisky have Jazzy’s,” he stated. He underscored that this generosity reflects Don Jazzy’s consistent support for people he doesn’t know, noting, “He has done uncountable times for people he doesn’t know from Adam that never made it to the internet.”
Addressing rumors about a supposed conflict between Don Jazzy and Bobrisky, DJ Big N clarified, “There’s no beef.” He further explained his connection to the situation, saying, “I was the person who introduced Oluwa Dollars to Jazzy.” His comments suggest that there are no underlying tensions between the artists involved.
DJ Big N also touched on the broader narrative surrounding artists and their relationships in the industry. He stated, “In a society where narratives are thrown around about reaching the top in music through sexual favors, it’s only right for him to want to oust these perpetrators from the game.” He cautioned against those who might fabricate stories for personal gain, pointing out that the individual who raised funds for Bobrisky coincidentally released a song the very next day.
Concluding his remarks, DJ Big N urged people to think critically about the narratives they consume. “Sometimes, we need to use our heads to think. It’s not only for headbutting people,” he advised. His statements highlight the importance of understanding the context of situations before jumping to conclusions.
