Dr. Quincy Ayodele Motivates Over 1000 Women During Siju Iluyomade’s Arise Women Empowerment

Yesterday, 26th of September, 2019 at the ongoing Arise Empowerment Campaign with a theme; #BLOOM organized by Siju Iluyomade the convener of Arise Women, a charity organization, over one thousand (1000) women were empowered.

At the event, Dr. Mrs. Quincy Ayodele, the Chief Executive Office, Quincy Herbals have called on well-meaning Nigerians most especially the federal government to support women and empower them so as to eradicate poverty from the land.

While addressing the participants who are over one thousand learning different skills from, tailoring, shoe making, beads making, Catering, Gele Tying Soap Making, Decoration/Event Planning, Wig Making, Photography, digital marketing and other valuable skills, she encourage them to take the learning serious while using herself as a living example emphasizing on how skill acquisition can help them combat financial instability.
Buttressing her point, she cited example of how she was able to start her business of over 20years with just five thousand naira (N5000) Saying “I want to let you know that you’re all luck to have this program organized. During my own time, we didn’t have such opportunity. So, I’m supporting them because I knew how I started my own business. So, I’m always ready to support anyone that is into empowerment. I try my best to motivate them and let them know that, I didn’t start on a platter of gold. I started my business with only five thousand naira (N5000), so if they have found Arise Women organizing this type of program, teaching them how to learn a skill to empower themselves, they should take it serious. Basically, I like to support something like this and encourage them with my own story. I thank God that I started small and God has elevated me to an international level.”
When she was asked to advise the organizers, she said “First and foremost, I will like to thank Arise Women for organizing such a laudable program to empower our women all over Nigeria. And my advice for them is to keep doing it on a yearly basis as they have been doing it, and this is like the 11th year. I’m also seizing this opportunity to call on well-meaning Nigerians especially women who are doing very well in their various fields of works. Also the federal government should come out to support the Arise Women, so that all our women can be empowered and the economy of Nigeria can be better. If all women can be empowered like I’ve been empowered then, poverty will be eradicated.” She concluded

Speaking further on the programme, Mrs Iyabo Ladipo, a member of the group reiterated that ARISE WOMEN is a non-governmental organisation and the convener is Pastor Siju Iluyomade who according to her, is interested in human capacity building, and empowering of women financially, health wise and in all other areas so that they would be able to cater for their families and be useful members of the society.
