Four People Killed As Robbers Storm Two Banks In Ondo State

The environs of Ile-Oluji in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State was thrown in disarray after some suspected gunmen stormed two banks in the community on Thursday.

The report gathered revealed that the banks that were robbed by the gunmen were First Bank and Polaris Bank and they are situated in the central part of the community.

The bank robbery led to the death of four people as the gunmen shot sporadically while the operation lasted.

It was revealed that the gunmen gained access to the banks through the aid of dynamites.

As at the time of filing this report, the identities of those that were killed in the robbery are yet to be confirmed, however, two policemen attached to the banks also lost their lives in the robbery.

Reports had it that about ten other bank workers and customers were seriously injured.
