A resident pastor of Living Faith Church, Aloko- Oganenigwu in Dekina LGA of Kogi State, Jacob Wodi Hulobu, was reportedly killed by gunmen who invaded the community on Sunday.
After the gunmen attacked the church during the early morning service, Jacob was said to have fled with some of his members to a safe location, according to the Daily Trust on Wednesday.
According to a church member, Samuel, the pastor returned to check on the state of the church after the attack when the invaders shot him dead.
He said, “He escaped during church service in the morning. He thought everything was calm and went back to check if the church was touched when he was killed.”
