How Christian Atsu paid my fees till I graduated — Comedian Craze Clown

Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Iwueke, popularly known as Craze Clown, has revealed how late Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu paid for his school fees until he graduated.

Christian Atsu, 31, was found dead in the 7.8-magnitude Turkey/Syria earthquake rumble that killed more than 6,000 people.

His agent, Murat Uzunmehmet confirmed the tragic news.

Craze Clown said the footballer had been supporting him as far back as 2015 and when he lost his father.

The father of one took to his Twitter page to write:

“This breaks my heart so much 💔😥🙏🏾 can’t believe I’m typing RIP to you Christian 😥💔💔💔 I’ve been praying and hoping you come out alive 💔 Rest Well my Friend @ChristianAtsu20

“Christian has been supporting me from way back in 2015.

“When I lost my dad, he l reached out and offered to pay my fees till I graduated and he did. You’ve been a great friend of mine, Chris, and I will surely miss you. I really can’t hold back the tears. Rest well brother”,

“Rest Well my Friend @ChristianAtsu20 … so many things to say about you coz you had a heart of gold. I sincerely prayed for God to keep you alive because it is going to be so hard for your Loved ones 🙏🏾💔 I pray God gives your family the strength to handle this pain🙏🏾🕊️😢”.

“Great guy on and off the pitch 🙏🏾🕊️”

Craze Clown wrote.

The disappearance of Christian Atsu, who had been a member of Turkish club Hatayspor, had sent shockwaves to the sports world.

Turkey was on high alert over the news of Atsu’s disappearance.

He was married to author Marie-Claire Rupio with whom he had two sons and a daughter.
