Nigerian singer, Harrysong has sparked controversy with his recent post on social media where he expressed his opinion on women’s independence and marriage.

The singer, who is popularly known for his hit song “Reggae Blues,” took to his Instagram stories to share his thoughts on the subject.

According to the post, Harrysong believes that women who believe in marriage and would love to build their dream homes with their partners should stay in their parents’ house, work, grow from there, and allow men to come and marry them from their parents’ house.

He argued that this would help bring back good home upbringing, fear of God, and respect, which he feels are lacking in society today.

In the post, Harrysong went on to state that a man’s money is for both him and his woman, and that a woman is only required to ask for it. He believes that his money is enough for both him and his partner, and that she should not feel the need to be independent.
