“I Don’t Believe in Any of the Miracles in Any Pentecostal Church” – Daddy Freeze

Controversial media personality, Daddy Freeze, has made a bold claim regarding the miracles taking place in Nigerian Pentecostal churches, suggesting that many of these acts of healing and divine intervention are choreographed. In a recent appearance on the “Outside The Box” podcast, Freeze expressed his doubts about the authenticity of such miracles, stating that they are often staged for the entertainment of congregants and are not supported by real, verifiable evidence.

“I’m sorry but I don’t believe in any of the miracles in any Pentecostal church,” Freeze remarked during the podcast, explaining that he doesn’t have an issue with the pastors themselves, but simply cannot accept the legitimacy of the miracles they claim to perform. His strong stance is rooted in the lack of tangible proof that he believes should accompany such extraordinary claims.

The media personality went on to compare the modern-day miracles performed by Nigerian pastors with those attributed to Jesus in the Bible, arguing that the miracles of Jesus were verifiable and witnessed by many. He referenced several biblical accounts, including Jesus healing a man with a withered hand, raising Lazarus from the dead, and curing blind Bartimaeus. Freeze highlighted that these miracles were not just isolated events but were well-known and recognized by the public, providing undeniable evidence of their authenticity.

“In the Bible, Christ healed prominent figures and performed miracles that were widely known. For instance, the woman with the issue of blood and the resurrection of Lazarus were events that everyone knew about,” Freeze pointed out. He contrasted these biblical miracles with the present-day claims made by Nigerian pastors, arguing that no one has been able to replicate such feats in a manner that would convince the general public.

Freeze further emphasized his skepticism by referencing specific instances where high-profile Nigerians did not experience miraculous recoveries despite prayers from leading Nigerian pastors. He mentioned the case of Dora Akunyili, a former Nigerian government official who passed away from cancer despite being prayed for by numerous pastors. “Dora Akunyili was dying of cancer, every Nigerian G.O prayed for her, they couldn’t heal her,” he said, suggesting that if the miracles were genuine, they would have been able to save her life.

He also brought up the case of Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu, who was reportedly in critical health, leading to the amputation of a limb before his death. Freeze pointed out that despite the numerous prayers offered by pastors, there was no miracle to prevent the actor’s deterioration. “Mr Ibu was deteriorating to the point they had to amputate him, and nobody could heal him,” he noted, again calling into question the legitimacy of the claims of miraculous healing in Nigerian churches.

In conclusion, Freeze called for concrete evidence of the miracles performed in Pentecostal churches. “Don’t tell me you did miracles. I want proofs,” he demanded.
