INEC Officials Are Refusing To Come To Our Polling Unit – Omoni Oboli Cries Out

Nollywood actress Omoni Oboli has expressed her frustration over the demands of INEC officials at VGC polling unit, Lagos, Nigeria.

In a recent post on her Instagram page, the actress revealed that the officials have refused to step into the polling unit, asking thousands of voters to come to the express to cast their votes.

Omoni Oboli, a mother of four, described the demand as ridiculous and potentially risky to voters, especially with the presence of thugs.

She further expressed her disappointment with the situation, noting that she doesn’t need any added stress during the election process.

The actress also mentioned that the polling units were fully set up, and everything was well-organized, but the officials’ absence could cause chaos and confusion at the polling unit.

This development has raised concerns among Nigerians, with many calling on INEC to address the issue urgently. The demand for voters to leave the polling unit and move to the express to cast their votes is seen as a violation of the electoral process and could lead to voter suppression.

The Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections is holding across the country today, Saturday, March 18, 2023.
