Isreal DMW Defends Davido Against Samklef’s Comments on Disrespect

Isreal DMW, an associate of Nigerian artist Davido, has responded to recent comments made by producer Samklef regarding perceived disrespect toward Davido. Samklef’s remarks followed a discussion initiated by skit maker Nasty Blaq, who highlighted the mistreatment Davido faces despite his reputation for kindness.

Samklef expressed his view on the reasons behind the disrespect directed at Davido. He pointed out that, unlike Olamide, who has also supported many individuals without facing similar backlash, Davido often has expectations tied to his good deeds. “Olamide has helped a lot of people than Davido. Why are people not disrespecting him?” Samklef asked, suggesting that Davido’s approach to helping others may lead to misunderstandings and resentment.

The producer emphasized that Davido seems to seek validation and control over how he is perceived. “This is what happens when you are always trying to look good in the eyes of everybody! You dey help based on expectation! Base on control,” he stated, voicing his concern for Davido’s mindset. Despite his criticisms, Samklef insisted he has love for Davido and believes he should stop portraying himself as a victim of criticism.

In light of Samklef’s comments, Isreal DMW took to social media to defend Davido, dismissing Samklef’s views as mere noise. He claimed that individuals like Samklef would not express such opinions in person, stating, “YOU ALL ARE ONLINE NOISE MAKERS. THEY DON’T SAY ANYTHING WHEN THEY SEE OGA.” This statement reflects Isreal’s frustration with public criticisms directed at his boss.

The back-and-forth between the two industry figures has attracted significant attention, as it touches on broader themes of respect, expectation, and the pressures faced by high-profile artists. Fans have been quick to engage in the debate, analyzing the differing treatment of Davido and Olamide within the industry.
