Popular Nigerian content creator James Brown has spoken out against recent rumors suggesting he is facing financial hardship and homelessness. The speculation arose after controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam alleged that Brown was struggling financially and had moved his belongings into the homes of friends.
In response, Brown took to Instagram to set the record straight. While acknowledging that he is currently saving money, he firmly denied being broke or homeless. He explained that his primary focus is accumulating enough funds to further his education in the United Kingdom.
“Many people have been asking if it’s true I needed help. I actually do. I need all the adverts and promotions right now,” Brown stated in his Instagram post. He emphasized that his need for financial support is tied to his educational aspirations rather than personal financial distress.
The influencer disclosed that he has managed to save approximately N30 million but requires N50 million to cover his tuition and other expenses. He also shared that he had reached out to some friends for assistance but was surprised by their reactions.
“I have turned into a boy now because I am trying to gather money and go back to school. I need N50 million, my savings is around N30 million. I called one or two friends about it, and they just went out of their minds and wrote all kinds of things,” he revealed.
