Popular Nigerian artist, Joeboy, has taken to social media to caution his followers about the unrealistic standards often portrayed on online platforms. The “Alcohol” hitmaker urged Nigerians to remain mindful that much of the content they encounter on social media is heavily curated and may not accurately reflect reality.
In a post shared on his social media accounts, Joeboy emphasized the need for a critical approach when consuming online content. He warned that many of the images and stories presented on social media platforms are manipulated to create an illusion of perfection. “Better don’t let social media define your standards, people lie, a lot,” he wrote.
