Joy Raimi Mojisola has been crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025. The glamorous national pageant took place on Saturday, April 5, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, drawing top talents and guests from across the country.
Representing Osun State, the 24-year-old model and humanitarian stood out among other contestants to clinch the coveted title. A graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Mojisola has a rich background in commercial and fashion modeling, with over six years of experience in the industry. She has also mentored more than 50 aspiring models alongside her coach.
“I’m incredibly honored to wear this crown,” Mojisola said after her win. “It represents a platform to advocate for the causes I’m passionate about and to serve as an inspiration for young Nigerian women across the country.”
In 2022, Mojisola gained international recognition when she was crowned Miss Intercontinental Africa at the 50th edition of the Miss Intercontinental Pageant held in Egypt, further cementing her status as one of Nigeria’s leading beauty queens.
As Miss World Nigeria 2025, she will go on to represent the country at the 72nd Miss World pageant scheduled to take place later this year. The global competition will feature contestants from over 140 countries, where Mojisola hopes to make a strong impression.
