Linus ‘Blord’ William Denies Verydarkman Allegations

Nigerian tech entrepreneur Linus ‘Blord’ William recently addressed rumors surrounding his summons by the Nigeria Police Force’s Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) during a podcast interview with content creator Isbae U. Blord, the chairman of Blordgroup, was invited over allegations related to poor customer service and fraud. However, there was widespread speculation that controversial critic Verydarkman was behind the petition. Blord clarified that the petition came from someone else, not Verydarkman, asserting, “The main petition that sent me to FCID came from somebody else, not Verydarkman. He does not have the audacity or the courage to do that.”

During the podcast episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, the conversation shifted to Blord’s branding strategies. When Isbae U asked about his approach to promoting his business, Blord explained that hiring influencers was too costly. He said, “Hiring influencers is too expensive for me. I’d rather focus on more authentic methods to promote my brand, methods that actually resonate with people and get them to trust and invest in what I do.” His remarks highlighted the rising costs of influencer marketing, particularly in Nigeria’s competitive tech industry.

The discussion took an unexpected turn when Blord was asked about his financial standing. In a surprising move, Blord handed Isbae U a cash gift of ₦10 million during the interview. “This is just to show that I’m serious about what I do. People may think I’m just all talk, but I can back it up with action,” Blord said, leaving Isbae U and the audience stunned. The gesture, while shocking, emphasized his confidence in his financial success.

Blord didn’t stop there; he teased even more ambitious plans, claiming, “I can make you a billionaire the next time I come on this show.” The bold statement sparked excitement and curiosity about Blord’s future business endeavors, with many wondering if his claims were grounded in reality or simply a playful tease.

The conversation also touched on the challenges of running a business in Nigeria, particularly the need for trust and reputation in building a sustainable company. Blord said, “At the end of the day, you are only as good as your last transaction, and in this industry, trust is everything.” This sentiment underlined his belief in transparency and integrity, especially in the face of public criticism and rumors.

Despite the controversies that surround him, Blord appears to remain focused on growing his empire. He acknowledged that while social media rumors and critics like Verydarkman could be challenging, he chooses not to let them affect him. “I don’t let the noise on social media affect me,” Blord remarked, reinforcing his resolve to continue building his business and reputation.
