Many feared dead as BRT bus, train collide in Ikeja (VIDEO)

On Thursday morning, a tragic accident occurred in Ikeja, Lagos, when a train collided with a BRT bus.

The incident left many passengers injured others feared dead and sparked widespread panic in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus was attempting to cross the railway track to reach Alausa when the train hit it, causing significant damage to the vehicle.

Videos of the aftermath have circulated on social media, showing passengers inside the bus trying to escape through the windows, with many sustaining injuries in the process. Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene, with the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) evacuating the injured passengers to nearby hospitals.
