Mixed reactions as Ekiti indegenes’ wishes Gov. Fayemi quick recovery

As the country continues to observe every measure in curbing Covid-19 pandemic, the number of positive cases increased on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, it is no longer news that the governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi is tested positive to the novel virus.

But it will interest you to know that some of the citizens of the state has been praying for a speedy recovery hoping the governor doesn’t have any underlying health conditions that could hindered his quick recovery.

However, testing positive will make the him the seventh governor who is tested positive after the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, Kaduna State governor, El-rufai, Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi, Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Abia’s Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.

And as he continues to receive treatment, some quarters have started questioning his and other governors test result saying Sanwo Olu who has been at the forefront of fighting the virus has never for one day tested positive, how come governors who the spread of the virus is minimal in their state are being tested positive?

This rhetorical question continue to beg for an answer as the governor re-assured the state of coming out from his self isolation negative to take back the mantle of power for continuous peace and development in Ekiti State.
