Nigeria-Jamaica Joint Commission Holds in Abuja Next Week

The fourth edition of Nigeria-Jamaica Joint Commission is slated to hold from 22nd-24th of February 2022 in Abuja. 

 

The Commission was established as a framework for strengthening collaboration and co-operation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.

 

Thus, the meeting will provide a formidable platform for revitalizing historical and cultural linkages, building new partnerships, advancing agreements in  entertainment, air services, tourism and trade between the two countries.

 

The Jamaican Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Honorable Kamina Smith Johnson is expected to lead the Jamaican delegation to the meeting.

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, H.E Geoffrey Onyeama and the Nigerian High Commissioner to Jamaica, H.E Maureen P. Tamuno (Ph.D) are expected to receive the Jamaican delegation in Nigeria.
