Nigerians are More Disunited Now than Ever –Atiku

Nigeria

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has said that his mission if elected in 2023 will be to rebuild Nigeria towards restoring Nigeria’s unity through equity, social justice, mutual collaboration, and consensus among our diverse peoples.

Atiku stated that the building process entails building a strong and effective democratic government where the safety and security of the people and their property is the primary, singularly and most important responsibility and to establish a strong, resilient, inclusive and prosperous economy that generates opportunity, jobs and wealth while lifting the poor out of poverty.

The former vice-president made the declaration during the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

He further explained that encouraging the adoption of a true federal system that provides all the federating units that are equal, and has a fair and representative federal government that secures Nigeria’s borders, defends the people and ensures national unity, while allowing the federating units to develop and grow in line with priorities which they have set on their own.
