Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus has shared her challenges with co-parenting her son, Malik, with his father, legendary musician King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam1 or K1. In a recent interview, Badmus revealed her struggles with K1’s lack of involvement in their son’s life.
“Initially, I didn’t tell my baby daddy (K1) about my sickness (brain tumor), but he later got to know,” Badmus said. “He tried for a while, but he is not responding to me anymore.” She expressed her desire for K1 to take responsibility for their son’s well-being.
Badmus recount personal struggles, including the loss of her father, mother, and younger brother within a few years. She has also been battling a brain tumor, spending a substantial amount on treatment.
“I have spent a fortune on my ailment, but I’m getting better,” Badmus shared.
Despite her health challenges, Badmus’s primary concern remains her son’s well-being. “All I want him to do is take care of the responsibilities of our son, Malik. I have been trying to cope, but it’s not easy.”
K1 has yet to respond to Badmus’s public plea. Fans and supporters have expressed sympathy and encouragement for Badmus, praising her strength and resilience in the face of adversity.
