The Online Reporters Association of Nigeria ORAN has expressed its solidarity with the sovereign state of Nigeria and exhorted all Nigerians to protect it’s sovereignty with the assurance that the present deplorable state of affairs will change for the better with positive concerted efforts.
While speaking at the ORAN general meeting yesterday, the president of the association, Mr. Tijani Adegbola reiterated the Association’s undying commitment to objective news reportage and urged the Media to always portray the image of the country in good light.
Furthermore, he urged the government at all level to be more responsive and sympathetic to the untold suffering which is currently being experienced by the masses, reminding them that there can never be good citizenship without a corresponding good leadership.
In conclusion, he admonished corrupt public officials, advising them to turn over a new leaf instead in the hexagenarian years of the country’s future.
