Portable’s UK Tour Postponed Amid Police Investigation

Nigerian singer, Portable’s much-anticipated UK tour has been postponed indefinitely due to unforeseen circumstances, his management team announced on Instagram. The sudden development comes as the singer faces a police investigation for allegedly assaulting Ogun State town planners.

Portable, known for his energetic performances and controversial persona, was scheduled to perform in the UK, but the tour has now been put on hold. His management did not provide specific details but confirmed the postponement in a brief statement: “PORTABLE UK TOUR POSTPONED TILL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO SOME UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES.”

The singer has recently been in the spotlight following allegations of a physical altercation with government officials at his bar in Ogun State. Reports suggest that Portable clashed with town planners who had visited his establishment for an inspection, leading to an ongoing police investigation.

While his management has refrained from linking the legal troubles to the tour postponement, the timing has fueled speculation. Portable himself has taken to social media, requesting prayers from his fans. His post has sparked mixed reactions, with some supporters rallying behind him while others question his continued involvement in controversies.
