President Tinubu Congratulates Lookman, Nnadozie, and Super Falcons on CAF Awards

In a statement released on December 17, 2024, President Bola Tinubu extended his heartfelt congratulations to Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, for being awarded the 2024 CAF Men’s African Footballer of the Year. This prestigious recognition was announced at the CAF Awards ceremony held on Monday evening at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco. The President also celebrated another significant achievement for Nigerian football as Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, was named the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year. Additionally, the Super Falcons were honored with the prestigious title of Women’s National Team of the Year. The accolades reflect the team’s excellence and the individual brilliance of Nnadozie, who continues to make her mark on African and global football.

 

In his message, President Tinubu lauded these athletes for their remarkable accomplishments and for representing Nigeria with pride.
