President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Maulud Nabiy, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President urged Muslims to utilize the period for deep reflection and remembrance of the Holy Prophet’s exemplary conduct and noble teachings.
President Tinubu emphasized the importance of emulating the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, saying, “As we mark the Maulud, we should all reflect on the life lived by Prophet Muhammad, exemplified by purity, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion. We must endeavour to imbibe those virtues.”
The President also encouraged Muslims to dedicate the Maulud holiday to praying for the country and showing empathy and compassion toward one another. He stressed the need for unity and kindness among Nigerians, particularly during this significant religious celebration.
