A heartfelt video is currently circulating online showing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reaching out to legendary Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate to offer his condolences following the passing of K1’s mother. The emotional conversation between the two has garnered attention from fans and the public alike.
Earlier reports revealed that the 67-year-old K1 De Ultimate, whose real name is Wasiu Ayinde, had lost his biological mother, Alhaja Halima Shadiya Anifowoshe, at the age of 105.
In line with the outpouring of support from Nigerians, President Tinubu took time to personally reach out to K1 De Ultimate, offering his condolences. The President, who had also lost his own mother in the past, shared a heartfelt message during their phone conversation. He prayed for K1’s long life, success, and peace, comforting him with words of encouragement.
During the phone call, Tinubu assured K1 De Ultimate that he would not experience suffering in the future. “I pray that you live long, and that you will continue to succeed. You will not face suffering,” Tinubu said, expressing his sincere sympathies to the grieving musician.
In response, K1 De Ultimate expressed his gratitude to the President for his kind words, acknowledging the support Tinubu has extended not only to him personally but to the Nigerian people as well. He stated, “As long as President Tinubu remains in power and supports Nigeria, I believe I will never face hardship again.”
