Buhari, Eyitayo, Others Mourns Prof Matthew Kayode

Friends and professional colleagues mourned the death of, Prof Matthew Kayode, a prominent personality in Kogi state who had served as Special Adviser to the President, Economic Matters many years ago.

 

Professor Mathew Kayode died at the age of 80 years old.

 

His death has been described as a great loss to the economics and entire academic families.

 

Both President Mohammad Buhari and ex-Health Minister, Eyitayo Lambo commiserates with the family while noting some of his impact as a lecturer and public office holder.

 

 

Before his death, he had served government from various capacity as Chairman sub-committee, National Revenue Allocation, Mobilization and Fiscal Commission; Member, National Capital Issues Commission; Chairman, Think Tank Committee for Strategic Projects, National Raw Material Development Council; Member, Technical Committee, Vision 2010; Member, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Board of Directors and a number of strategic Committees and Commissions in Kwara, Kogi and Lagos States.
