Nigerian singer Joeboy has announced the acquisition of a new house, which marks his fourth real estate purchase.
The 24-year-old musician, whose real name is Joseph Akinwale, shared pictures of the new property on his Instagram account on Sunday, accompanied by the caption “LAVIDA BOY”.
Joeboy, who rose to fame in 2019 with his hit single “Baby”, has become one of the most successful Nigerian artists of his generation. In addition to his music career, he has also invested in real estate, which has been a popular investment choice among Nigerian celebrities.
The news of Joeboy’s latest real estate purchase was met with congratulations from his colleagues in the music industry. Mr Eazi, a fellow Nigerian artist, confirmed that the new house was Joeboy’s fourth, writing, “Crib Number 4!!! It’s plenty!!!!!!” on Instagram.
While the exact location and cost of the new house have not been revealed, it is clear that Joeboy’s investment portfolio continues to grow. In a previous interview, he spoke about the importance of investing in real estate and other assets, saying, “As an artist, you don’t know how long your career is going to last. So, you have to think ahead and plan for the future.”
