Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson is riding high on the success of his debut production, Reel Love, which has taken Nigerian cinemas by storm. The actor recently took to social media to express his gratitude as the film surpassed N167.2 million in box office revenue just two weeks after its release.
In an appreciation post, Timini acknowledged the overwhelming support from fans who showed up in cinemas across the country. “I am beyond grateful for the overwhelming love and support for *Reel Love*! For the second week in a row, it stands as the highest-grossing Nollywood movie in cinemas,” he wrote.
The actor also extended his gratitude to his colleagues who played key roles in the movie. He commended their dedication and talent in bringing the story to life, ensuring the film resonated with audiences. “A special thank you to my incredible cast—your talent and dedication brought this story to life in the most beautiful way,” he added.
Beyond the cast, Timini recognized the efforts of his industry peers who supported him by organizing meet-and-greet sessions at cinemas nationwide. These events helped amplify the film’s reach and contributed to its box office dominance. “To my dear friends and colleagues who hosted meet-and-greet sessions, took time out to show up, and helped amplify this moment—your love and support mean everything to me,” he wrote.
